In the United States, only about 16% of adults have ever been on a cruise. Cruising can motivate top performers and reward them with a 3-night weekend in the Bahamas, or a week long private charter from Rome to Barcelona. Success at sea comes in many forms...Here are a few success stories.

SOMETIMES A HALF-SHIP CHARTER IS BETTER THAN HAVING IT ALL Incentive cruise program for a major brewer’s national beer distributors. (900 people)
Because of their traditional production requirements, rehearsals, and product-placement needs, our client requested a full charter. But ships the right size to charter couldn’t seat them all at the same time in the main show lounge or dining room. A half-ship charter of a bigger ship was an ideal fit for meals, meetings and awards, but could the program work without the control a charter allows?

LAST MINUTE ROAD BUMPS WITH BMW GIVE-AWAYS Strategic incentive program for an electronics retailer’s joint program with a computer manufacturer. (250 people)
This was a short cruise with lots of sizzle and 3 BMW’s as give-aways in a progressive elimination drawing that was to start onboard and culminate after debarkation in the port of Miami on the last day of the cruise. Lots to arrange in short order, with new requirements at the 11th hour when our resources were limited.

GOING OUT ON A LIMB Incentive cruise program for high-level insurance sales executives. (200 people)
Independent meeting planner who resisted our cruise conversations for 10 years finally took a chance with a cruise when he needed a fresh, unique idea for a high-end program. What happened with his 5-night charter from Athens to Istanbul?

IF POLITICAL INSTABILITY THREATENS, CAN YOU CHANGE DESTINATIONS AND TAKE YOUR HOTEL WITH YOU? Incentive cruise program for high-level insurance sales executives. (350 + 350 people, 2 departures)
Thanks to our experience and flexibility in planning custom charter itineraries, we could address our clients’ concerns about political stability in Yugoslavia without disrupting their European incentive cruise program.

ALL DRESSED UP WITH NOWHERE TO GO? COMBINING A CRUISE WITH A BLACK-TIE AWARDS EVENING ASHORE. Incentive cruise program for a world leader in supplemental insurance. (1800 people)
Planners wanted a ship large enough to house all 1800 participants and stage a black-tie awards presentation with celebrity entertainment. The seating capacity of the show room on our recommended ship was only 1300 (the largest of any ship’s theater at the time), so we scouted a suitable awards venue in Miami, port of departure. But how to schedule a black-tie dinner and awards/entertainment ashore on arrival day, given the ship normally sails at 4pm?
